Research information:
I am an internationally recognized expert in Refugee and Migrant, Homeless Health and Cochrane Equity. I provide medical legal expertise with a focus on refugee and migrants, trauma informed care and understanding the clinical context in primary care. My research program focuses on initiatives to use evidence-based medicine to improve the quality of primary care and to address health inequities for vulnerable populations (refugees, homeless, frail elderly, dementia and LTC). Specifically, this includes clinical practice guidelines, deprescribing guidelines, systematic reviews, and community based research.Area(s) of expertise:
