Dr. Nguyen is an economist whose work bridges rigorous theory and empirical analysis across Economic Development, International Economics, and Monetary Economics. His research examines commodity and stock price dynamics, economic policy design, and tax collection behavior - with a particular focus on translating analytical findings into actionable policy insights. His recent scholarship centers on Markov regime-switching models as tools for time series forecasting, reflecting a broader commitment to advancing quantitative methods in economic research. This methodological sophistication is grounded in rare interdisciplinary depth: Dr. Nguyen holds a Ph.D. in Economics, MA degrees in Mathematics & Statistics, and Business Administration, and an undergraduate foundation in Engineering. Beyond academia, he brings substantial practical experience from industrial sectors and government think tanks, where he has shaped tax compliance frameworks, informed tax policy development, and built predictive modeling systems. This combination of scholarly rigor and institutional experience positions him as a distinctive voice at the intersection of economic research and public policy.
