Gilles Patry was 16 when he first registered at the University of Ottawa in pre-science. As he steps down as president of the University after seven years, he never imagined that one day he would have the honour and the privilege of leading this great University.
The University of Ottawa will receive $14 million from the Government of Ontario to allow the University to make improvements to existing buildings, upgrade equipment, renovate facilities, increase energy efficiency and improve security and accessibility.

The University of Ottawa community is deeply saddened by the passing of Jean Herbiet, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Theatre, which he had helped create.
