Research information:

Dr. Bonaccio is an internationally-recognized expert on advice giving and taking during decision making. Her research focuses on the factors that promote positive advising interactions, such as characteristics of advisors, decision-makers, and the framing of advice. She also studies the consequences of taking (or not taking) advice.

Dr. Bonaccio also researches individual differences commonly used in employee selection. She is specifically interested in how non-cognitive individual differences (e.g., personality, test anxiety, emotions) influence the assessment process and outcomes.
