Research information:

My main field of research focuses on language and literacy development. I focus specifically on the factors, programs and contextual events that foster individuals' ability to study, interact and work in more than one language in a plurilingual society. I have looked specifically as the training of second language instructors, the impact of content based language learning approaches (immersion), the development of biliteracy and advanced writing skills in university contexts, and the affordances and applications of technology to support language and literacy development.
