A panel discussion at the University of Ottawa will bring together a group of journalists, researchers, and commentators to debate the provocative issues brought up by scientific advances and the communication of science through the media.
The panel will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, at 10 a.m. in Room 112 of Tabaret Hall, 550 Cumberland.
Prior to the panel discussion university president Gilles G. Patry will present the President’s Award for Community Service through the Media to this year's winners: professor Barbara Vanderhyden and Michel Prévost, uOttawa's chief archivist.
