Students – Already Volunteering on or off Campus
To have your volunteer experience recorded on your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), you must be registered with the Experiential Learning Service and matched to your placement online:
- If you have not already done so, you will need to create your ELS Student Account;
- Send all the details regarding your volunteer opportunity to the Experiential Learning Service by filling out the form entitled “Create your own placement”.
In order to have your volunteer experience added to your CCR, you will need to keep track of your hours on the CCR Student Log Sheet (available in the CCR Student Handbook), and bring it to the ELS office. Finally, once your volunteer placement is completed, your supervisor will need to fill out an evaluation indicating that your services to the organization were satisfactory.
Note: If you are unsure whether you are already matched to your placement online, you can check under “Placement Status” in your ELS Student Account.
