My field of research is called “Be Sweet to Babies” and focuses on reducing pain in babies and children. My studies include effectiveness and utilization of pain management strategies for sick and healthy babies and children. In addition, I study how hospitals and community settings actually use recommended pain management strategies during needle procedures such as immunization and blood work, and how we can improve pain management for our youngest populations.Areas of Expertise:
