OTTAWA, November 7, 2014  —  Who says young people can’t cook? The University of Ottawa invites members of the media to attend the second edition of the Iron Chef Competition, which will determine who will represent the University at the Inter-University Iron Chef Competition early next year at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Students will have two hours to create at least two dishes from a surprise list of ingredients they will receive the day of the competition.

WHAT: Iron Chef Competition
WHEN: Saturday, November 8, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
WHERE: Unicentre kitchen (85 University | map)

Judges will evaluate teams and their dishes based on the following criteria: organization, cleanliness, cooking techniques and skills, presentation, nutritional balance, originality and, of course, taste.
