Research information:
My research is focused on understanding how glaciers, ice caps, icebergs, and other components of the Earth's cryosphere are changing in a warming climate. Using a combination of satellite remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and field measurements, this includes investigations of glacier dynamics, glacier mass loss, iceberg production, Arctic environmental change, and the implications of these processes for natural hazards, marine transportation and communities. Most of my work is undertaken in the Canadian Arctic and other high-latitude regions.
