My geographical areas of expertise are the United States and the Arab Middle East, particularly Lebanon, Palestine/Israel, Egypt, and Kuwait. My thematic areas of expertise are social movements, migrants and migration, refugees, and community organizing and NGOs. I am also able to comment on social issues more broadly in my countries of interest.
