Description :
The Canadian Association of Science Centres is a non-profit association representing 45 science centres, science museums, children’s museums, planetariums, nature centres, and science outreach organizations across Canada, as well as 24 affiliate supporters. More than 8 million people, nearly a quarter of Canada’s population, visit CASC member institutions each year. The mission of the CASC is to build capacity for its members to inspire a creative and prosperous Canada through science and technology engagement. The CASC is governed by an elected Board of Directors drawn from CEO’s and senior executives from science centres across Canada. The CASC office and Executive Director are housed at the Canadian Museum of Nature’s Natural Heritage Building in Gatineau, Québec.
