INFORMATION RELATIVE AU PARTENAIRE COMMUNAUTAIRE :
Organisation :
Centre canadien pour la justice internationale / Canadian Centre for International Justice
Description :
The CCIJ/CCJI was founded in 2000 by Amnesty International Canada, the Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture, and other NGOs and individuals. Its mandate is to ensure that those present in Canada and accused of committing atrocities abroad, such as war crimes, are brought to justice and their victims supported and compensated. We provide assistance with research and investigations, give advice and referrals to victims and witnesses, and conduct education and training on these issues. The CCIJ is a not-for-profit organization with charitable status, run primarily on the volunteer time of a committed Board and several Working Groups comprised of lawyers and other professionals.
