INFORMATION RELATIVE AU PARTENAIRE COMMUNAUTAIRE :
Organisation :
Canada Eh!
Description :
Canada Eh! is dedicated to connecting and engaging Canadian youth with their heritage. In the spring, a group of 10 university students will accompany a group of youth from Lord Landsdowne, a Toronto downtown school, to travel to Ottawa for three days to learn about the significance of Canadian Heritage by visiting the Rideau Canal (a Canadian National Historic Site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Gatineau Park, the Museums of War and Civilization, and through other interactive activities. This trip will be all-expenses paid for, therefore giving students a chance to participate regardless of their financial background. Students will also have the privilege of participating in Parks Canada’s Young Reporters Program, as they document their trip and have their work published online and in community newspapers.
