University creates working group on French-language programs and services

The University of Ottawa’s Senate has approved the creation of a working group on French-language programs and services at its meeting of May 1, 2006.

The group is mandated to provide the university with a vision for the future of French-language programs and services at North America’s largest bilingual university. To develop that vision, the group will:


Members of the group will be drawn from the administration, the Board of Governors, faculty members, support staff, undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, retired staff, and the Franco-Ontarian community. The senior administrative representative on the committee will be Sylvie Lauzon, Associate Vice-President (Academic).
