Three researchers holding Canada Research Chairs are joining the University of Ottawa:
- Katherine Lippel, Canada Research Chair in Health Law and Workplace Safety, is looking at developing policies and laws that will protect and improve the health of workers.
- Howard Rundle, Canada Research Chair in Quantitative Evolutionary Genetics, is examining the mysteries of mate choice and why females commonly prefer certain mates over others.
- Patrick Walsh, Canada Research Chair in Environmental Health and Genomics, is using DNA-chips to understand the mechanisms by which aquatic organisms adapt to environmental changes.
