As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Science, the dean invites you to attend a special Family Day, on Saturday, November 22, 2003. Reptiles, chemistry demonstrations, a magic show, a clown and a caricature artist are all part of the entertainment. So come with your family and marvel at the science . . . of fun!

Marcel LeBlanc, Emeritus Professor of Physics
Magic show or science lecture? Physics professor emeritus Marcel LeBlanc will sing, breathe steam, blow things up and freeze everything but your imagination. He may even convince you that science is your passion . . .

Gabriel Blouin-Demers, Department of Biology
Are you passionately interested in reptiles? Probably not as much as Dr. Blouin-Demers, whose research involves these creepy crawlers. During his lecture, he’ll attempt to take the mystery out of what makes these animal tick.
