The National Research Council Canada (NRC) released the Final Report of the National Consultation on Access to Scientific Research Data (NCASRD).
The Report outlines recommendations and guidelines for maximizing the value received from Canada’s publicly funded scientific research data, through their long-term preservation and open access standards.
"The findings of the NCASRD point the way forward for Canada to ensure open and long-term access to its publicly funded scientific research data," said Dr. David Strong, Chair of the NCASRD Task Force.
