Famous Quebec author discusses The Quiet Revolution

Denise BombardierDenise Bombardier, a well-known journalist, essayist and author, was the guest lecturer at the Charles R. Bronfman Lecture in Canadian Studies on October 22. Ms. Bombardier's lecture was entitled “La Révolution tranquille : quarante ans après”.

Since November 1994, the Institute of Canadian Studies presents a prestigious lecture in Canadian Studies designed to highlight a leading personality who has made a significant contribution to the study of Canada.

This yearly lecture is made possible by a donation from Charles R. Bronfman and by a grant from the Canadian Studies Program of the Department of Heritage.

Given the bilingual character of the University of Ottawa and its location in the heart of the nation's capital, the Charles R. Bronfman Lecture is given in each of Canada's official languages, on an alternating basis.
