University alumnus William J. S. Elliott has been appointed by Prime Minister Paul Martin as his national security advisor, effective April 8, 2005.
Elliott, who earned both a B.A.. and LL.B. from the University, was previously the assistant secretary to the Cabinet, Security and Intelligence in the Privy Council Office.
