Engineering professor Ronald L. Droste is the recipient of the 2005 Albert E. Berry award from the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering for outstanding contributions to the development and practice of environmental engineering in Canada.
Droste’s research interests focus on water and wastewater treatment and on water quality in the environment. He has worked on international projects with many Canadian and American consulting firms and also consulted with The World Bank, the International Development Research Centre, and the Canadian International Development Agency.
