The Ontario government is helping internationally-trained individuals take their place in the provincial economy by soliciting training and other job skill related proposals. The request for proposals is through the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
The government is encouraging a wide range of organizations, including community-based associations, to develop new projects that will help newcomers continue their careers by building upon their existing skills and experience, gaining job experience, and getting registered or certified in their profession or skilled trade.
