The University of Ottawa Trivia Club will attend the National Academic Quiz Tournaments Intercollegiate Championship, on April 8 and 9, 2005 at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Along with teams from McGill University and the University of British Columbia, the uOttawa team will compete against 32 of the best academic trivia teams in North America and Britain.
The uOttawa players are Ben Smith (team captain), Jeff Gordon, Shauna McNally and Tamara Vardomskaya. Their goal is to finish 20th overall, which would be the best finish ever by a Canadian university.
