Alumnus Ron Sapsford was appointed Deputy Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, effective March 1, 2005. The announcement was made on January 13 by Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty.
Sapsford holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa. He is currently the executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation.
