Saba Hersi, a second-year student pursuing philosophy with a concentration in international relations and global politics, took part in a fashion show organized by Somalian students during International Week, January 24 to 28. Throughout the week, international students from 47 national and ethnic groups offered live performances, food tastings and other activities to promote the multicultural nature of the campus.
“One of our University’s defining parameters is encouraging a cosmopolitan and diverse student community because that is what drives that dynamic exchange of ideas and pushes forward the learning process,” said President Gilles Patry at the outset of the week.
