Bruce H. Swan became president and chief executive officer of the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group (ROHCG)on January 1, 2005.
ROHCG governs the Royal Ottawa Hospital, Brockville Psychiatric Hospital, and a number of psychiatric community outreach programs in eastern Ontario – all affiliated with the University of Ottawa.
Swan will replace George Langill, who has worked with the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group for 30 years.
Swan has more than 27 years of direct experience in senior positions in a number of health care organizations across Canada, especially in the western provinces, most recently as executive director of mental health for the Calgary Health Region.
