Language Services undergo changes

The appointment of Constance Tolszczuk as the new director of Language Services comes as a result of a broader mandate recently given to this administrative unit. This new mandate includes quality control in both languages and a training component to enhance the overall quality of written material at the University.

Tokszczuk took over the position on January 4, 2005. She joined the University’s Language Services team as a translator-editor in 1991. For the past few years, she has held an acting appointment as assistant secretary which gave her an insight into the University’s operations.

Language Services is called upon to provide translation, revision, editing, proofreading, terminology research and standards and to develop shared tools and resources to respond to the administrative needs of academic and administrative units.
