The University held a fair to welcome new students at the outset of the winter 2005 semester. As part of the event, some international students had a chance to get their first taste of a traditional Canadian treat: maple taffy.
Maple taffy on snow will also be served on January 29, during an outdoor film showing — one of the many activities on the program for the 2005 Winter Challenge, which will run from January 17 to 21.
