A new annual lecture will bring world-class thinkers to the University of Ottawa to explore ideas at the nexus of health and the environment.
The Delphi Group, a leading strategic environmental consultancy based in Ottawa, has partnered with the University to establish the lecture series, called “The New Thinking Lecture Series on Health and the Environment”. This series will be the first of its kind in Canada and will seek to foster multidisciplinary learning that can inform and influence public policy in this area.
The first lecturer will be Maurice Strong, described as an “outstanding Canadian and international citizen,” by David Mitchell, vice-rector for university relations. Strong will deliver his lecture on February 8, 2005.
