Denis Desautels will chair a panel of experts that will seek ways to improve the management of large-scale information technology projects within the Ontario government.
A former auditor general of Canada, Desautels is currently executive in residence at the School of Management. The other two members of the task force are Carol Stephenson, dean of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and David Johnston, president of the University of Waterloo.
The task force will report directly to Management Board Chair Gerry Phillips. Its report will be issued publicly early in 2005.
