The University of Ottawa recently launched a renewed Research Perspectives, a journal of discovery and invention.
The magazine's format was updated to showcase exciting research taking place at the University of Ottawa, and its relevance to Canadians. Its audience includes decision-makers and opinion leaders in the public and private sector, as well as the research community in Canada and abroad. Research Perspectives is published four times a year.
This issue's stories range from reality television, to lake water, to the military. The feature story is about the discovery of a protein that may lead to a cure for muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular diseases. The Bravo! section highlights the latest awards and achievements of uOttawa researchers.
