The University of Saskatchewan appointed Jo-Anne Dillon dean of arts and sciences for a five-year term, effective September 1, 2004. A professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology, Dr. Dillon was the first director of the Centre for Research in Biopharmaceuticals and the director of Biotechnology Research Institute at the University of Ottawa.
