Carol Amaratunga became interim director of the Institute of Population Health at the University of Ottawa, effective July 1, 2004.
Dr. Amaratunga is presently Chair of Women’s Health Research at the University of Ottawa.
She will replace Dr. Joe Losos who has served as the inaugural director since 1999. Dr. Losos will be taking on new duties within the institute.
