Another major step has been completed the University’s strategic planning that began in the spring 2004.
The 12 task forces submitted preliminary versions of white papers, several of which are available online on the Vision 2010 Web site.
Vice-rector, academic, Robert Major, invites anyone who wishes to comment on the white papers to forward their comments, although the submission of white papers is only an intermediate step in the process. An official consultation will begin in the fall with a conspectus based on the white papers.
Major is very pleased to see that more than 150 people have given generously of their time to reflect upon the present and future of the University, since the initiative was launched in mid-March. He went on to thank students, staff, professors and members of the community who invested time and energy in the process.
