Emmannuelle Richez, a student in the political science honours program in the Faculty of Social Sciences, is among the 10 finalists in the As Prime Minister Awards program. The group of finalists also includes Reynolds Mastin, who is an alumnus of the University.
The winner of the competition will be announced in mid-November.
In 2001 the award went to Christina Stachulak who was then a biochemistry student at the University of Ottawa.
This national competition is sponsored by the Magna for Canada Scholarship Fund.
