The 11th Annual National Capital YM-YWCA Women of Distinction Awards will be announced on April 29. In past years several recipients of these awards were from the University of Ottawa.
Nominees are accepted in the following categories:
- Community Entrepreneurial Spirit Changing the meaning of good business
- The Rogers Television Award for Healthy Living Changing how we live
- Learning for Life changing the learning experience
- The Ottawa Citizen Community Champions Award Changing our community through volunteering
- Workplace Innovation Changing how we work
- Young Trail Builders Changing the face of the future
- Lifetime Achievement Celebrating a lifetime of community commitment
Deadline for nominations is Friday, February 13, at noon.
