The University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) is planning two major fundraising events in coming weeks.
The institute’s 13th telethon will be on Saturday, February 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The live broadcast on CJOH TV will originate from the ballroom of the Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata.
The institute’s founder, president and CEO, Dr. Wilbert Keon, will be honoured for his lifelong contribution to medicine and the community as part of a gala event at the Ottawa Congress Centre on Saturday, April 24.
