On February 28, the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation (OCRI) announced that nominations for the 2008 University of Ottawa EMBA Scholarship at the Telfer School of Management will be accepted until May 9. The single scholarship is valued at more than $59,500 for the University’s Executive MBA Program. The recipient of the scholarship will be a candidate who is currently pursuing a career within Ottawa’s knowledge-based industries.
OCRI teamed up with the University of Ottawa last year to enable a local member company employee the opportunity to further their education. The scholarship is open to all OCRI member companies and includes tuition and all required books and three field components: orientation retreat, innovation and entrepreneurship consulting trip to Silicon Valley, and an international consulting trip.
