As part of Green Week, Brigitte Morin, the Student Federation of the University's sustainability coordinator, and a team of student volunteers, retrieved used coffee cups from across campus to highlight the amount of waste generated. More than 6,000 cups are thrown away every day.
Ask your local coffee shop if you can bring your own mug. Some shops offer discounts to customers who bring refillable mugs.
