Seeking stocking donors

A long-standing tradition at the University continues this year with the Christmas stocking drive for children of low-income families. Julie Cafley, executive assistant to the president and director of Ceremonies and Events, and Anne-Marie Magneron, administrative assistant, University Relations, coordinate this goodwill gesture in conjunction with the Ottawa Food Bank.

If you would like to receive the gift of a child’s smile, contribute a stocking with some fun gifts and some practical items, such as a toothbrush or soap. Send an e-mail to hohoho@uOttawa.ca and you will be assigned the name and age of your sponsored child. Put your stocking in a plastic bag labelled with the name and age of your child and deliver the package to Room 082, Tabaret Hall, on December 11 or 12, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

All packages will be delivered to the children in time for Christmas.
