The new Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) bargaining unit at the University of Ottawa was officially founded on October 13, under the name Support Staff - University of Ottawa (SSUO). Members approved their new constitution and bylaws and elected their officers.
The Executive Committee is as follows:

Daniel Morin, vice-president, Communications
Pierre Bertrand, grievance officer
André Filion, chief negotiator
Gilbert Desgranges-Adam, secretary-treasurer
The members of the SSUO executive are currently setting up the unit’s offices at 559 King Edward.
