The University hosted a reception on August 29 for the newly selected pages of the House of Commons. The House of Commons Page Program, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2008, has allowed some 1,200 students from across Canada to experience the workings of government firsthand. The University of Ottawa has a long tradition of having pages among its student population. The 2007-2008 cohort is no exception. This year 36 of a total of 40 pages are uOttawa students.
