Professor Daniel Gervais has been appointed as acting dean of the Common Law Section from September 1, 2007 until June 30, 2008.
Prof. Gervais is University Research Chair in Intellectual Property as well as Osler Professor of Intellectual Property and Technology Law. He was previously acting dean of the Common Law Section from February 1, 2006 until July 31, 2006
