Bruce Feldthusen, dean of the Common Law Section of the Faculty of Law, assumed the responsibilities of vice-president, University Relations, effective September 1, 2007, following the departure of David Mitchell.
“Dean Feldthusen’s leadership skills have proven invaluable during a time of great change for the Faculty of Law. Since joining the University of Ottawa in January 2000, Bruce has demonstrated his commitment to raising the profile of the University through the development of strategic partnerships and increased support for teaching and scholarships,” said President Gilles Patry.
Feldthusen will hold this position until the appointment of a new vice-president.
