New Bachelor of Science in Nutrition for Francophones

On May 29, the University’s Faculty of Health Sciences launched a new French undergraduate program in nutrition and diet.

The 120-credit program is unique in Ontario: it will be offered in French, it will be of a four-year duration instead of five and it will offer a co-op option. The main advantage of the program is that all professional placements will be integrated within the four-year program. At the end of each academic year, students will be able to put into practice theoretical notions they have acquired.

The program will accommodate 40 students in its first year and approximately 50 in the following years depending on placement options. The program is set to begin in September 2007.
