Bike-share: a new option for staff and students

To encourage cycling as a sustainable commuting method at the University of Ottawa, the Transport Demand Management program has launched a Bike-Share pilot project for the summer and fall of 2007.

The concept is simple; bikes are loaned, free of charge, to students and employees of the University. Reservations can be made for a maximum of six hours at a time. For more details, visit Protection Services or go to the Parking and Traffic Office, 100 Thomas More.

Gilbert Desgrange-Adam of the Physical Resources Service tries out one of the new bikes while Danny Albert of Transport Demand Management looks on.
