Each year, the University’s Division of Clinical and Functional Anatomy holds a memorial service in honour of those individuals whose donated remains have been cremated during the past year. This is an opportunity to publicly remember these individuals and their families and their important contribution to medical research.
This non-denominational Christian ceremony is presided over by Father Paul Cormier, with songs performed by Marie-Colombe De Maupeou, both from the University’s Spiritual Services Centre. A memorial book is on display, where families can see the names of their loved ones inscribed.
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 5 at 2:00 p.m., at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. If you wish to attend, please confirm your attendance by e-mail: Claudine.Seguin@uottawa.ca.
