The University’s Materials Management Services is deeply saddened by the passing of Brian Beecroft, contract officer with the service for more than 30 years. He passed away on April 23, due to cardiac problems, at the age of 58.
Brian Beecroft was well known and appreciated by the University community and by a large number of suppliers from the region, the province, and across Canada. For us, he was a colleague, a friend and a brother.
Over his long career, he knew only one employer: the University of Ottawa, and only one service: Materials Management. Words can’t describe his colleagues’ sadness; neither can they describe the extent of their gratitude for his dedication and loyalty to the University as a whole.
