The Commerce and Administration Student Charity Organization (CASCO) held its annual benefit event for the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario on November 20. Some 40 volunteers took part in a fashion show and silent auction.
CASCO's mission is to “to be a positive and inspiring example to fellow students, to businesses, and to the community by being socially responsible through community involvement.” Since its inception in 1998, the organization has donated more than $130,000 to CHEO. The November 20 event, which drew about 200 people, raised $16,000.
