Extensive new digital research resources available

The University of Ottawa Library is pleased to announce the Knowledge Ontario initiative. This provincially funded project provides all Ontario libraries with access to a core suite of digital products for a two-year period, until December 2008.  You can access this important addition to the library’s digital collection on campus or off-campus, using your library access account.

The Knowledge Ontario databases provides the full text of newspapers, journals, books, reports and biographies, as well as essays, images and reference sources. A wide range of research areas is covered, including social sciences, health, law, computer science, Canadian studies and history. Whether you are looking for newspaper articles on the Iraq war, journal articles on AIDS in Africa, or material on Aboriginal health in Canada, the Knowledge Ontario database is an exceptional resource.

For information, contact Tony Horava, collection and information resources coordinator.
